Float- My first experience in a Sensory Deprivation Chamber

I was introduced to the sensory deprivation chamber by my friend Marlo over at Light Star Dimensions and thought it sounded really intriguing. I was very interested in how it might assist with reaching the altered states of consciousness. In researching, I found there were three places about an hours drive from our home in northern California, so I made an appointment and took a little trip down to Oakland for my first experience. I made the appointment at The Float Center and was really impressed with their staff, facility and floating chambers. So how did it go? What was my experience? Happy New Year!  I hope you had a beautiful holiday season. Ours started off with a bang as we went to New York City to support our son and his high school band. They performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on one of the coldest days on record. With tempetures in the teens, my husband and I braved the cold at 5 am to get a good seat. Despite the parade-day weather, we had such a great time and can't wait to go back. Only a couple weeks later, Nicole and I hosted a much welcomed retreat here in Ft. Worth. Following the weeks of excitement and holiday gatherings, I was very happy to stay home in Ft. Worth for Christmas. Our daughter, came home from the university and we we spent the break with both kids. It was a much needed down time and I've found that I'm now rejuvenated and ready for the new year! I haven't been on this blog for a long time, but I've been really active on Instagram at @Raise.The.Vibe.Tribe & @AmySikarskie and shared many videos this past year. Color is Life! My Experience with Rainbow OPTX Chromotherapy Glasses

‘Wow!” is all I can say after putting on a pair of Rainbow OPTX  Orange Wayfarer   glasses. I look at our son and thank him for choosing the color.
